Sponsored Links Campaign with Google AdWords

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising with Google AdWords will get you near immediate visibility on Google for the specific keywords you want your business to be found by in the geographic region of your choice. An AdWords campaign includes the creation of the three-line ad, the selection of the keywords, the setup of the campaign for the geographic area, and the ongoing monitoring of the campaign. Periodically there will be adjustments to keywords as the competition changes. YouTube video advertising is also available as part of the Google AdWords campaign.

  1. Keyword: This is the word that is bid upon to come up in the search. This generates the Pay Per Click banner that was created.

  2. Current Bid: This is the current bid price for that particular keyword. NetCetra changes it based on (5) average position of the banner that the (1) keyword triggers.

  3. Clicks: This is the amount of people that click on your banner and go to your web site landing page.

  4. Impressions: This is the amount of times your banner came up on the search page. It does not mean it was clicked on that is (3) clicks.

  5. Average Position: This tells you the average position of your banner on the search page.

Sponsored links or Pay Per Click banners are at the top and right hand side of the search results page. Position #1 is the first position and Position #4 is the fourth position. This positioning is based on the keyword bid.
