Ready or Not, Here it comes, Vista!
Just when you were
getting use to you XP operating system Microsoft announced the release of their
new operating system, Vista in a short time. That means the beta version still
has bugs. Everyone is eagerly waiting to buy and upgrade his or her PC
operating system, not! The only people that cannot wait are the ones with too
much time on their hands, are true computer nerds or own a PC repair business
and can’t wait to charge you for the installation and upgrade of everything
that is suppose to work without a problem. Do I sound sarcastic? I sure do. The
amount of improvements do not equate to the amount of time for the learning
curve and frustration of incapable software and hardware. Microsoft is trying
to eliminate this aspect but it is almost impossible with smaller software
companies. Most businesses are not expected to move to this system for at least
a minimum of one year. I think it will be longer. The sale of new PCs is way
down and that is when new operating systems get the most exposure.
Oh and if that is
not enough, Microsoft's Office 2007 is also being launched. It is suppose to
know all your movements to make using it easier. This is based on watching the
strokes of Office users for the past three years. Boy, are the PC techno nerds
of the world going to be busy this Holiday season.
