Black Friday

Traditionally as we know, one of the best shopping days in retail is the day after Thanksgiving. Well the Internet is starting to settle into a time period as well. Analysis
from the last three years has shown December 11th and 12th as the Internet's Black Friday. As an ecommerce site what are you going to do to prepare for it? A specials area, shipping deal, quick ship or discount for last minute.
Maybe you have a unique or hard to find product in your line. Advertise it on your home page. Be sure to not only to put a picture of the product on the page but include a TEXT description that the search engines can read. It is totally legal to use a brand name in your description. Do not make it a graphic. This way when someone is searching for that specific product, you have a better chance of being ranked in the search engine results.
Be prepared!
